Penny Grace Knitwear was founded in 2022 by Helen Deely the designer/maker. Covid and its repercussions had hit her hard, and after her second daughter Grace was born she decided to not return to work, and instead to start her own business of knitted accessories.

Everything is handmade by Helen in her garden studio in Hanwell, West London. The knitting is made on her hand powered domestic knitting machine and then hand finished. Helen has an BA in Textile Design from Chelsea College of Art and an MA in Fashion Knitwear from the Royal College of Art.
